Start and stop a project timer while you work, or add a manual entry with a description and time range. Use the daily grid in a work item when you need to record its hours for a specific day. Review and edit entries from the time tracking screen.

Review the relevant project time

Filter reports by dates, projects and users. Review time by project or inspect work item totals, including entries without a linked work item. Report access follows the user’s workspace permissions and project access.

Take reports into your next review

Download a CSV from the report screen or request an Excel export. Excel files are generated in the background and offered for download when ready. Save useful report filters so you can return to the same view for your next review.

Do I have to use a running timer?

No. Manual entries and the work item daily grid are also available. Choose the method that matches how you record your work.

How are Excel reports downloaded?

Request an export from the time report. A background job prepares the file and shows its download status. Generated files are available for 24 hours.
